A traditional Chinese Turn Based MMORPG on Android
This was my first game project. I worked in HappyElements as a gameplay engineer, and took charge of this experimental project. I joined the development of the client side with the Unity Engine.
There were two main client-side engineers. The first one dealt with the network, fighting system and quest system. I took responsibility for all the other parts including ui system, navigation system, audio system, scene management and resource management. I also had to optimize the performance and port our game to early stage Android platform.
In this project, I had gained considerable practical experiences and knowledge, which makes me a better developer and team player.
However, this game did not perform good enough. Although the game has decent quality, the Chinese market was filled with many similar games.
